Bookstock, Vermont's Festival of Words unites people in a celebration of storytelling and the written word.

Hear Pulitzer Prize winners, Poets Laureate & authors from the region and across the country. Once again Woodstock, VT showcases the best creativity, thoughts, diversity and ideas of our times in and around the Village Green.

50+ speakers, 45+ events, live music, workshops, exhibits, shopping, special events and an amazing book sale with 10,000-14,000 used & rare books! Most event and author sessions are free and open to the public.

You will see here a summary events. You can register for any event using the "Get Tickets" button above where sessions are organized by these categories: Stage & Screen, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Children and Family, Poetry, History, and Writer's Sessions.

Registration is encouraged, but voluntary - it allows us to prepare a fun and engaging experience for all attendees. Proof of registration is not required in person; this helps us prepare for the festival and allows us to send you news of updates and changes. Registration does not guarantee a seat at free events; seating for free sessions is first-come-first-served.
