Chef Nate has cooked professionally for over 20 years, and loves feeding his family on camping trips.

Who: Adults and children between the age of 8-17 accompanied by an adult.

What: Cooking demonstration over fire by professional chef Nate Wright of Marble Valley Catering. Everyone will have a taste of the feast at the end, and we will have handouts with general recipe guidelines for what Nate has prepared. Topics covered will include proper food handling, fire maintenance, and strategies for camping menu planning.

Come Alive Outside will provide soft-drinks, a water jug to refill water bottles, and plates and utensils for tasting.

When: Sunday, August 20th from 2PM-3:30PM

Where: Pittsford Village Farm, Pittsford, VT

We will send out parking instructions in the email confirmation a few days prior to the event.

What to Bring:

1) Please bring a notebook and something to write with.

2) Please bring your own camp or outdoor chair. If you will be standing, please wear comfortable shoes.

3) Dress comfortably and in layers. Wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle.

Cost For Event:

There is a fee for this event to cover the supplies. The cost is $10/per participant.

Thanks to our Outdoors For All funding from the Red Empress Foundation we are able to offer scholarships for those experiencing financial hardship. You can choose this option in the ticket section.
