Feed and Meet the Pigs at Union Brook Farm | Open Farm Week 2024

We will have a number of pigs on farm at this time some will be full grown and we may even have a fresh batch of piglets to meet. we will be walking down into the forest and feeding the pigs bread from Red hen baking and veggie slops from the local grocery store. This is an interactive event great for all ages! participants must wear long pants and hard shoes to enter the pen, though it will be possible to participate without entering the pen. There is about a 1/4 mile or less walk to the pig area and we dont have a way to shuttle folks so please be aware of that when thinking of joining the event.

Em + Rose have been at Union Brook Farm since 2020 and have hit the ground running! We raise pastured hens and broilers and forest raised pork. We also offer farm stays and have a hobby flock of sheep and a large garden for personal consumption. We are in Northfield VT just minutes up the road from town and hope to have a farm stand completed by August! We can also be found at the Capital City Farmers Market every Saturday 9-1 cooking breakfast sandwiches using their farms products 133 state st in Montpellier.
