Nordic Feast | Zen Barn

Join Zen Barn for a seven course dinner on Monday, December 12th in Waterbury where we will be featuring ingredients traditionally showcased in the far north, but that are now grown here in the Green Mountains by their spectacular array of local farms. Think sea buckthorn, saffron & rye! They will be ringing in the solstice season on the eve of Scandinavia’s festival of light, also known as Santa Lucia Day, with the help of wordsmith Clare Dolan of the Northeast Kingdom, who will lead toasts throughout the evening.

Tickets are sold on a sliding scale basis, $85-$135, $115 being the suggested middle ground. The ticket cost does not include drinks, but specialty Wolfpeach cocktails will be available along with a full bar. Contributions that go above $115 will be donated to the North East Farmers Of Color Land Trust because, in their own words, ‘To be truly regenerative, we must be reparative.’ Learn more about their work at https://nefoclandtrust.org/.
