Shop & Sip with Lake Champlain Chocolates

What better way to kick off the holiday season than with some delicious, gourmet hot chocolate?  Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC)  is hosting a free hot chocolate tasting on Saturday, November 25 from 12-4pm at their newly renovated and expanded Flagship Store & Café, 750 Pine Street, Burlington. 

All four LCC company stores, Church St and Pine St in Burlington,  Route 100 in Waterbury, and the newly opened Stowe location on Main Street in the village will be celebrating the season with holiday chocolates and the cafés will be serving hot chocolates, seasonal favorite Peppermint hot chocolate, cappuccinos, lattes, ice cream, milk shakes and more!

“Hosting this hot chocolate tasting the Saturday after Thanksgiving is a tradition here at Lake Champlain Chocolates,” says Gary Coffey, Director of Retail at Lake Champlain Chocolates.

Deemed by Travel + Leisure as “America’s Best Hot Chocolate” and rated #1 by Good Housekeeping, customers will enjoy a flight of fair trade and organic certified hot chocolates, including Traditional, Peppermint, and Mocha. All hot chocolate tins will also be on sale, as well as savings on other holiday chocolates.

In addition to the expanded footprint which includes a new bakery and café seating, LCC still offers customers’ favorites like shopping foiled chocolates from the bulk bins and factory seconds. 

“We want our customers to enjoy their shopping experience with us. The LCC company-owned stores offer free tastings, special events, and specialty confections like almond butter crunch, peppermint bark, and pick-your-own truffles that customers won’t find anywhere else,” says Coffey.
