Farmstead Soap Making Class at Between the Trees Farm

Learn to make your own soap! Hilary from Between the Trees Farm has more than 15 years of experience making soap, and she will guide guests through the process.

In this farmstead soap making class, each participant designs, measures, and mixes their own 2.5 lb batch of soap. The farm uses only natural ingredients, including farm fresh raw milk. Participants get to choose up to three custom add-ins, such as essential oils, oat flour, rose clay, activated charcoal powder, sea salt, and more, to personalize their soap. Hilary will go over the process of designing a new recipe, and important information about handling lye safely.

The class takes about 2.5 hours. All materials and ingredients are provided, and participants get to take home their soap in a new mold. Participants will also receive instructions via email after the class. 

This class is offered Saturday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, March 1, 2025.
