Brookfield Bees, 1148 Kibbee Rd in Brookfield, is participating in the Vermont Fresh Net/Dig In VT Open Farm week 2024. We will be open Saturday August 10th and Sunday August 11th, 11am to 3pm for visitors interested in beekeeping and local honey. Our honey is unprocessed, with no heating or filtering so you get all the good things honey can provide. We have a huge collection of honey from all over the country and all over the world, from Maine to California and Iceland to New Zealand. Visitors will have an opportunity to try honey from various locations and various floral sources. So come meet the beekeeper, see an observation hive, watch bees work an actual hive through binoculars and find out why honey from the supermarket just cannot compete. Complimentary cider and goodies will be available! We also do maple sugaring…ever wonder what the difference is between the various grades? Come and taste the difference! Call 802 276 3808 if you need more info or visit us at www.brookfieldbees.com.

Brookfield Bees is a small operation. We have about 20 beehives, and we do maple sugaring in the spring and cider pressing in the fall. We also sell beeswax products such as shea butter skin therapy, soap, and beeswax candles.
