Sunday Picnic with Adventure Dinner

Raise a springtime cocktail with Adventure Dinner at their first-ever Sunday Picnic! Bonus: just so happens to be Mother’s Day if you want to invite your bomb mama or mama figures in your life. They’ll be setting up their fringe umbrellas and laying out their picnic spreads on the working landscape of Shelburne Farms, on their season-opening weekend.

Reserve your picnic pack for two (or as many as you need for your crew) today for pick-up lakeside on Sunday, May 14th. Their tapas-inspired kits will be super bountiful and inspired by the colors of spring. Choose from two options, Omnivore and Specialty, the latter being vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free.

They’ll have a selection of chairs and blankets or BYO to get comfortable on the beautiful greens with lakeside views. Their pop-up bar will be ready for you to take your picnic up a notch for mom with cold beer, chilled wine, and mocktails available for purchase.

Adventure Dinner is a collaborative event company that dreams up and hosts unique food and drink experiences in unexpected places around Vermont.  What started as a bi-annual event in 2015 became a full-fledged business in early 2020, just weeks before the pandemic hit. Despite that unfortunate timing, we took to heart a mission to create “safe joy” for our community through food, drink, and place.  Today they use their powers for good—searching out and spotlighting the best Vermont has to offer, building meaningful community events, and giving our passion to private celebrations.
