This is the New Spain: Wine & Food Pairing | Dedalus Wine Bar

Spanish wine has a bad reputation. Not even 50 years ago, Spain was ruled by a fascist dictator hellbent on stamping out diversity and dissent, and traditional wine along with it. Since a return to democracy, producers have been able to craft more sustainable, thoughtful wines rooted in tradition. This is the New Spain. In this class, you’ll learn about how Spain’s reputation went downhill and how tradition is being resurrected while sipping on our favorite producers leading the charge. You’ll taste regional pairings, tapas style, while you learn about the food and wine culture of Spain.
