Backwoods Alchemy Maple Farm is proud to be family owned and operated. After lying dormant for several decades, they reactivated their sugarbush in 2005. Since then, the family has reconvened in Vermont from all over the country for the common goal of harvesting the state's "liquid gold." Backwoods Alchemy embraces the myriad of challenges involved in producing syrup in the spring and maintaining infrastructure throughout the other seasons to continue this fine tradition, carrying on into the 21st century. In addition to organic certification, Backwoods Alchemy is proud to have also received the Bird Friendly Sugarbush certification from Audubon Vermont.
