Bear Roots Farm

Bear Roots Farm, an 87-acre hill farm is diverse with 50 acres of open crop land, 25 acres of cedar forest, a unique mix of pasture, and a homestead that houses all of the infrastructure.  Jon and Karin, a husband and wife team, purchased the farm in 2014 through the Vermont Land Trust's Farm Access Program. Through the VLT the farm is forever conserved and protected from development.  The farm is certified organic, which means it meets all of the requirements set forth by the USDA and Vermont Organic Farmers' Association.  Bear Roots Farm is proud to serve a growing year-round CSA, attend local Farmers Markets, and provide vegetables to some of the area's most popular restaurants.
