The Mosaic of Flavor cooking series is a collaboration between City Market and USCRI Vermont (US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Vermont, formerly the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program). In March, we will welcome instructor Rosette Kabasela, who is from Congo-Kinshasa. Rosette will teach us to make one of her favorite recipes, a Congolese beef and mushroom stew known as Bouillon de Boeuf aux Champignons. Rosette will also teach us how to make fried plantains and rice to go with the stew. Rosette moved to Vermont with her family in October 2022.
Class will be held in-person in the South End Community Room. All ticket fees will be sent to USCRI to aid in their mission.
