Join Creamery Manager Andi Wandt as she shares the detailed journey through the art and science of cheesemaking. In this interactive program, learn about the steps involved in making our farmstead cheddar, dive into how high quality milk makes exceptional cheese, and explore the science behind cheese aging. And, of course, enjoy a guided tasting of our aged cheddars! All participants will receive a half-pound block of our farmstead cheddar and a deeper understanding of the cheesemaking process. This program is part of Vermont Cheese Council's Vermont Cheese Week, a state-wide, weeklong celebration of cheese and cheesemaking. Events are offered state-wide, and include educational, tasting and sampling, and on-site farm and creamery experiences.
