Family-owned and operated with the help of friends and neighbors, Twin Maple Sugarworks began in 1998. Since the early days of two twin maple trees in their backyard to a 5,000 tap operation in 2019, Twin Maple now processes over 100,000 gallons of sap to make thousands of gallons of organic maple syrup. They buy the power to run their reverse osmosis from a neighbor with solar panels and use sustainably harvested firewood for their boiler. Organic maple syrup, sugar, and cream are for sale at the sugarhouse. Anyone who visits is welcome to tour the sugarhouse and hear the Twin Maple story. They are open almost every single day; call ahead to verify hours.
