Nebraska Knoll Sugar Farm

For more than thirty years, their family has tapped trees in Nebraska Valley, one ridge over from Mt. Mansfield. The old and the new fuse in their 9,800 tap operation; a modern sap-collection system feeds a wood-fired evaporator with open, steamy pans stoked by a crew of neighbors.
