At Flag Hill, Sebastian and Sabra Ewing create handcrafted, traditional farmhouse-style Vermont Hard Cyders, all organic since 1984 and wild yeast fermented, as well as distilled fruit spirits, Pomme de Vie and Stair's Pears. You might think of them as Vermont brandies, similar to Calvados Poire William. Flag Hill thinks of them as 'the spirited essence of fruit.
