Bistro de Margot serves seasonally inspired French fare with a modern twist in a Burlington setting with a view of Lake Champlain. In season, the patio offers a place to relax and take in the view. The Bistro is named for Chef Herve Mahe's grandmother, known as Margot. She was talented and adept in the kitchen, creating meals that were both of high quality and could feed her large family. Before it was fashionable, she was a foodie and localvore, harvesting fruits and vegetables from her own garden for her kitchen and table.
