The Wheeler family has been stewards of woods in the Northeast Kingdom for 6 generations. They make certified organic maple syrup and were one of the first participants in the Audubon Bird Friendly Maple Program that works with syrup makers to create healthy bird habitat. They make specialty foods onsite, and have an eco-friendly sugarhouse with a steam evaporator powered by used vegetable oil. There is a maple museum and gift shop for visitors; products are also available for order online.
