Shelburne Orchards includes 80 acres of apple trees on the shores of gorgeous Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont. The orchard has been in the same family since the 1950′s, overseen by Nick Cowles for over 30 years. They grow apples, peaches, and sour cherries. The orchard also produces cider, non-alcoholic Ginger Jack, world-famous cider donuts, and a new apple brandy. Next up is apple cider vinegar. In addition to food products, they also sell apple trees. The orchard is open to visitors from late August through the end of October, and hosts special events each fall.
